Firefox Web

Please update your version of Firefox for the latest features and security updates.

Mozilla Firefox is a fast, light and tidy open source web browser. At its public launch in 2004 Mozilla Firefox was the first browser to challenge Microsoft Internet Explorer’s dominance. Since then, Mozilla Firefox has consistently featured in the top 3 most popular browsers globally and this is set to continue thanks to the release of Firefox 30. Mozilla Firefox is a feature-rich and highly customizable web browser that’s user-friendly enough for beginners and sophisticated enough for advanced users. Firefox has managed to retain significant market share despite stiff competition from Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge.

Starting with Firefox version 55, you can enjoy Virtual Reality (VR) content directly from your Windows desktop computer via the fully-implemented WebVR standard.

WebVR is a technology that lets developers and artists create web-based Virtual Reality (VR) experiences you can navigate from within your headset (such as the Oculus Rift and HTC VIVE) and Firefox on your Windows computer. You can see and control VR experiences that you see in your headset with handset controllers and your movements in physical space.
